After work Shopping

Wanted to check out Soho's Sabon to grab a product after work today...

Grabbed these flats first in Soho's TopShop. They're pretty comfortable! I wanted the white pair too but they did not have any more sizes left. I actually have to stretch this pair out a bit to make it fit but happy none the less!
Saw a pair of studded ankle boots there but convinced myself these were the more "practical" choice... I have to think about if I will go back for them ^^

Spent 30 minutes in Sephora trying to figure out which new Korres Body Butter Scent I wanted, I spent so much time testing and sniffing I gave myself a stomache and left without a body butter... I think next time I go back im grabbing the mellon scent.

Walk down to Sabon but they were out of the product I wanted when I went to visit, BOOOO. Saddened I went across to Bloomies...

Currently hoping to get the Shu Uemura Deep Sea Water Facial Spray in Rose I walked into Bloomingdales in search, only to find out Bloomingdales not sell Shu Uemura????? why not...??BOOOO

Headed uptown for some sugar...

Random cupcakes shots from Magnolia Bakery, try the Bananna pudding, it is worth the crowds at Rockafeller Center. Red Velvet and Caramel

Tomorrow is Friday!

Mail Haul!

I have been ordering like mad online and to my great fortune everything has come in betweenFriday and today, well except for 1 more item but for the most part my new hauls have arrived!!! Hahaha I definetly have stopped shopping so much, I had actually ordered this stuff a while ago and had to wait since everything was on back order but im so happy now to try this all out.
All this stuff came from SaSa, MihokoFamily, Imomoko, Bath and Body, and Rite Aid

Beauty Maker:
I have been hearing alot about Beauty Maker latley. The effectivness of his products, handy sizes, and very afforable prices. I ordered so much Beauty Maker you would think I loved the brand but I definetly wanted to give this try especially since all I have heard so far are raves of this brand.

The Beauty Maker Super Hydrating Facial Wash Mousse.
Since summer is coming ( raining everyday in NYC, it has yet to arrive in my eyes) I wanted to get a light foam wash. Super hydrating is a plus. If your skin is very hydrated it wont become dry creating excess oil in the summer.

Beauty Maker Aquamarine Softening Toner:
Another new toner. Well sort, of this is a face softener. I have currently been using the Quiora softener and will have a showdown between the two. I am currently less than a week away from finishing the Quiora.

Beauty Maker Pu Pu Cheek
Omg! is this too cute or what?? the bow, the size, the color! it seems so hime style! ADROABLE and it is such a little girl size. Ahh I love it. The color is also so cute on the cheek. It is very pigmented so only a little is all you need!

Beauty Maker BB Mineral Concealing Cream
A new concealer to try out. I have this in 03. 7ml. This is TINY! look how big my hands are compared!

Beauty Maker Spot Whitening Corrector
I am hoping to use this on my old acne scars to help speed the scar period and even out my skin tone.

Beauty Maker Acne Treatment Gel
My current search to kill all acne is still going strong!

Beauty Maker Skin Repairing Wakening Gel
I had heard that if there is one item you get from Beauty Maker this is it. Comprable to Lenige Water sleeping Pack which I love so I cant wait to try this! this smells pretty awesome.

Coffret Dior
My first palette from this brand. I love the packaging and the colors are so shimmery oo0o0o0

Silk Whitia Masks
Pearl kind, Collagen, Moisterizing and Essence, all whitening. I have already tried one of these. Compared to the masks of "My Dear Diary" these are so much more saturated! I will do a comparison review in the future. Hahaha they were buy 1 get one free, thats why I have so many. All except the pearl mask were under the offer.

Mableine Angel Fit Foundation in N02
I had heard that this was the number 1 selling drugstore foundation in Japan. Mabeline is a brand that I know and can trust. This particular line is not available in the states. I heard the coverage is amazing and light weight feeling. I thought this would be bigger for some reason...

CO Bigelow Rose Salve
I had dropped in Bath and Body today. ( FYI every Monday they have a sale for June) I saw this and it reminded me of my Rosebud Salve from Smith which goes everywhere with me so wanted to give this a shot. The color is a little lighter and the scent is like, roses with cotton candy. Pretty sweet smelling in my opionion.
I got more BBB stuff but nothing special just some soaps for my bathroom.

CHI 44 Iron Gaurd
So many Youtubers use this brand prior hot tools so it was definetly worth a try. This I got in Rite Aid.

Weekend Hauling

It's Sunday today, so it is time to show you what I got this weekend. A mix of random, small, necessities and some new items!

Friday therapy:
On Friday my ELF items came in during work in the post. Look at all this stuff! less than $20 bucks...

The shipping was super fast but I dont think I will shop from ELF again soon, I did not see much I wanted there outside these above items.
Mostly bronzers and brushes. I actually dont have any bronzers outside these. I love blushes and never wanted to spend alot of money on bronzer because I prefer pale skin, but some of these colors are great for contouring, and since it was only 1 dollar each I did not feed bad about finally buying a bronzer!

Went to Soho after work in search for Muji for a drawer case. Long story short 2 hours later I found Muji and it was 1 /20th the size of the one I saw in HK!! ( too tiny for the effort)
On my search for Muji, I stopped by a few shops...

1. MAC store
Wanted to try MAC MSF in "Perfect Topping" before it was offically sold out everywhere, or discontinued. It is pretty!!! it gives me a slight shimmer on my cheekbones, a great new buy. I love how I got one with alot of purple in it ( SA chose it for me ) to help meld into my yellow undertoned skin.

MAC Blush in Dainty. Cute color, a little light, and you need it tap it a few times to get a nice corally/reddish glow. I think NARS blushes are far more pigmented.

MAC conceler in NC 30. I am actually an NC 20 but the SA recommended I go up a lil in shade for the blemishes. Not bad, I might go back to get the NC 20 in the studio fix concealer in the future for my undereyes.

2. Lush: Mask of Magnamity. My HG mask!!!! very very minty sometimes when this is on I start to tear a bit but it is completely worth it! when you rub this off you skin is so PURE and clean. It just removes the weeks worth of dirt off your face and gives you a radiant showing of your natual skin. I highly recommend!
Only downside is it is a little messy to wash off but still the greatest clay type mask I have tried.

Revlon Lipsticks: Color stay in Baby Peach and Lipstick in N*de Attitude
I had never tried Revelon lipsticks before but heard so many great things about them about their moister and price, & decided to try some. I also heard ALOT about N*de Attitude. (right)

I now love Revelon lipsticks! the quality is far more superior than anyone would expect from a drug store brand. I loved them so much, I bought more on Saturday! ( did not take a picture of them)
N*de Attitude lived up to the hype and I now like it as my n*de lipstick. Finding a n*de lipstick for my skin shade so far has been a failure. The lipsticks are good but the color stay, in the thinner packaging I love more. ( Left: in baby peach) It is sooo moisterizing you dont even need a gloss on top of it, like how you do with the lipstick.
I want more colorstays!!
I purchased these at the fanciest Duane Reade I had ever seen in Soho lol.

On Saturday I did get 3 more from Revelon. Two more lipsticks and a colorstay. I did better on Friday with my color choices but since I hate returning things ( laziness) I will find a way to make them work lol.

TodayI got a few random things.
Laneige Pore Trouble Cleaner.
After the horrible Clinique attempt a few weeks ago I turned to the brand to which I have had toners and used bottles upon bottles for years. I had never tried the pore trouble line but had heard good things and wanted to give it a try. Previously I had used the light refiner toners in reg and EX. Which are very hydrating and I reccommend.
I am very excited to try this new toner! hopefully it helps with my new acne =(

Laneige places it's type lines by a color code. Green is for the pore trouble line. I had previously used Blue which is the normal combo skin line.

The SA gave me some free samples. I love samples!

Anna Sui ( Fake) Mirror
I needed a new compact and saw this in the neighborhood. Actually all the stores in my area are stocked with these fake Anna Sui mirrors now. Not just the compact kind, the hand held kind, cell phone charm kind etc etc. Only 4 bucks, a good size. I love Anna Sui but there is none of her merchandise really around here in the states, even in NYC (1 shop somewhere in Soho, I could not find it, if you did not know notice from my Muji story I suck with maps and navigation) so I take what I can get.

I saw these Vivianne Westwood like earrings in the store and HAD to have them. The store stated it oped it 1 pm. I was standing outside the store at 1:10 thinking... I will come back. Stayed in the mall for another hour and went back at 2:15. Still closed..-_-
Left the mall and came back at 3:15 hahaha. Then I saw it OPENED and I got the earrings.
The owner apparently takes lunch the time she opens???
I also got these black and white lil ribbon earrings because I love bow style accessories.
Aren't they cute?
I dont have alot of studs, so I am glad to add these to my collection!

On a side note, here is the make up bag I used today. I did not realize until recently I have a bunch of cosmetic bags! A bloody collection already. I actually only bought 2 of them...both 99 cents to 2 bucks. The rest came free from Japanese magazines. Today's is from the brand "Milk fed" which is pretty popular in Japan. Most of the time I use a bag I had recieved from another magainze from Jill Stuart. Japanese magazines offer great freebees!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and hope to hear from you all =)
I already wrote a tiny list of things I want next week ><
I definetly have to go on a spending diet!!

Sun Protection and Bling* Bling*

Summer is coming so it is time for me to find a new sunscreen for protection.
I wear sun screen 365 days a year. This is without exception. I would rather go out in the world bare faced and with SS than with the best make up in the universe, and no sun block. Hell no. Not me.

I had previous been using Laneige star white multi protector SPF 40 with PA +++
It had lasted quite a long time, and for the price the lifespan is not so bad...but there is 1 flaw.
After application your face looks so OILY.

I do not have oily skin, but with this item I look like I do =( so it time for me to move on, now that I have finally run out of this item.

My new Sun Screen:
Dior Snow SPF 50 PA +++ I tried this on in the store and AHHH no oil what so ever! no oily residue!  A new very important requirement for me in a sun screen. Higher SPF was also a bonus but... the this thing looks so damn small... I was like $50 dollars? this thing is only like 4 inches...but the sales person had informed me that this was 1 years worth. a YEAR!? maybe I am applying too much, but so far I have been liking it over my Laneige, and am happy with the purchase.

On a side note my package from YesAsia has arrived.
Isn't it pretty? My new " Boys over Flowers" necklace. People who have seen this drama will recognize the pieces. I am ashamed to admit, but I have yet to SEE this drama! It is definitely on my list to watch soon, but so far not 1 episode...

When I wear this around K town alot of ppl seem to think I am a huge fan. Haha I just thought the necklace was pretty.

The other piece is from my bf on my birthday. I wear it almost every day at work because it is very cute and work appropriate I think, but don't they look good together? Hmmm it seems I have a very easily spotted taste in jewelry.

Egyptian Magic and My Mascara Trio

My new nightly Moisturizer:
Egyptian Magic~ sounds interesting no? Cleopatra had to be one of histories beauties, and she probably had flawless skin, why? Because the Egyptians in ancient times created a balm that will create the most supple and soft skin you can imagine.

Egyptian magic is an all natural all purpose cream that can be used for all sorts of cuts and scrapes and rubs but as a moisturizer is my main use.
Followers of this item include Madonna & Kate Hudson.

At first glance it looks more like Shea butter/Vaseline but don't turn away yet!
You simple take a small amount and rub it in your hands and it quickly becomes an oil which I place on my skin at night as a moisturizer.
In the morning, your skin will be so SOFT. As you are washing your face in the morning your hands will definitely be able to feel a difference.

I would only recommend this item for night use, because when placed on the face you do like pretty oily for like 20 minutes but it absorbs well into the skin, and you can sleep easily.
It helps to rub it into your skin so it can penetrate into your skin.
Alot of people might be scared of applying what seems like oil to your face, but FEAR NOT!
The ingredient are all natural and out of the 6 ingredients, 2 are olive oil and honey.
Olive oil when massaged on your skin can lead to gorgeous skin after daily use. Honey is very effective at clearing acne scars and helps remove current spots naturally.

I apply my nightly spot creams after this 20 min drying period.

Ingredients: Olive oil, Beeswax, Honey, Pollen, Royal Jelly, Propolis Extract

Price: $31.00 for a 4.0 oz jar  at Whole foods ( cheaper online $25 ish)
Texture: Vaseline like
Scent: Not much of a smell very light honey scent
Effect: Soft soft soft skin, result should come up as soon as 1 day
Overall: 4.5 out of 5 ( did not like how i had to wait so long for it to absorb)
Would I repurachse?  Yes

Mascara Trio:
I seriously need mascara daily. If it wasn't for the gym and perspiration I would wear it 7 days a week. This is not because of routine, product, or love of the stuff.
I have SHORT, SPARSE, THIN, STRAIGHT lashes. This is no lie(please note CAPS for emphasis)
and it is awwwwful!

My typical routine for my lashes are curling, primer, mascara, waterproofing them, and heated eye last curler.
Many steps no? so it sucks when people around me are like... you are wearing mascara and inch closer with a squint to see my tiniest of hairs.
My lower lash line is so thin it took me like 2 weeks of practice to try to even apply mascara on them.

I am constantly on the search for a new HG mascara which would give me loooong well... noticeable lashes, with considerable volume. As my search continues, here are my current products which I rotate.

From Left to right :Imju Fiberwig Paint on False Lashes, DIORSHOW Blackout, Majorlica Lash Expander Frame Plus

Imju is stated on the Sephora site as the number 1 mascara choice of Japan. Admit tingly this is a new brand to me. Most likely due to it being a Sephora Exclusive.

The brush is like a skinnier version of the brush from DIOR, except you can easily see the fibers. These fibers attach to your natural eyelashes and extend them for a lengthening effect.
This mascara has like no volume at all which is kinda a down side for me but this is still a new product and I think I am going to try it a few more times prior judging.

A considerably fatter brush than Imju but no extra fibers. Not necessary! When I want both volume and lashes for my eyes to really POP out I use this. I think most of the Dior mascara's are excellent but the blackout one is so BLACK, so it can make your eyes look huge when your lashes are framing them.
Lots of volume come out of this brush, for lengthening it is ok. You can definitely notice a difference, but more for volume. With this applicator you need to be careful, this thing can clump easily.

Once this runs out I am planning on trying the DIOR SHOW.

Majorlica Lash Expander Frame Plus

Interesting brush no? I am seeing more and more mascara's go towards this shape.  This brush requires 2 steps. The top portion of the brush is where you apply on first. Wiggle from root to tip, then turn the brush over to the more rounded portion, and separate your lashes with the side of the wand where there are more straight teeth bristles.

I think this mascara is better than the Fiberwig in terms of lengthening. They both use the same method for expansion. False fibers. No volume...but I use this one the most for everyday use and work.

Those are my current 3 mascaras in rotation. As an FYI I use the Lancome primer, and the ClarinsDouble Fix Mascara to avoid smudging as a top coat. For the extra length if I have an opportunity, I use the Sephora brand heated eye lash curler.
