Singapore Exploring

The barrage of vacation pictures finally begin, first up is Singapore! I took over 900 photos in total, so it was hard to choose, but here are my favorite pictures! - All iphone

Thanks all for checking out my vacation pictures!!!

Some side notes!

*In Singapore I saw the largest Louis Vuitton store I had ever seen. Our race seats were across the bay, and I could clearly see it across on the water - I did not go inside*
*The girls with the sashes are contestants for the Miss Universe pageant? Not sure, I did not pay attention*
*Singapore had the most amazing set of high end malls I had ever seen in 1 place - they have an area of town that puts NY's 5th avenue to complete shame*
*Singapore is incredibly clean! the thing they say about the gum in Singapore is true. No one sells it, and I saw about 5 wads on the floor total*
*It was so incredibly hot for Sept/Oct! I must have gone up a complete MAC shade in 3 days!*
*English is the first official language so there were no issues getting around, Singapore has four official languages though*
*Many hotels in Singapore are connected to Malls -I would like to stay in one of these next time*
*Thank you to my patient boyfriend who put up with me taking over 900 iphone photos at every stop which way =)*

  1. Everything looks amazing! I'm drooling over the food, and my husband (who is also a foodie) just looked at the post and is now jealous that you got to see the race! He's a huge F1 fan :)

  2. is he? my bf did not stop talking about it for MONTHS, and we watched the replays and following races on tv during vacation. That F1 store in the picture, he was SWALLOWED in that store! He went in and did not come out for a long time, I couldnt recognize him bc he was wearing the same thing as everyone else!! I was pretty sure after 45 minutes I lost him =P

You guys should go to one. I blv America will host their first race soon in Texas! they are building the track now, bring ear plugs!!

  5. It's so futuristic + palm trees! I had no idea Singapore looked like that. I'm totally late-night drooling over the mini pancake platter and spicy noodles. YUM! It looks like you had a great time.

Oh, and LOL on the CK's. I guess that's the popular style there =?

  6. Looks very fun! Singapore looks very clean...even in the pictures. What happens when someone wants to chew gum...where would they get it? lol

All the architecture is so modern :O So pretty!

  7. YES!! CK under garments shops were all over Asia for some reason, but the photo was actually a CK underwear vending machine I saw in the subway! Why a person would have a sudden need to buy undies in the tube is beyond me. lol

  10. hehehe I did take more food pictures but usually I already jabbed my spoon in there so it was no where near as nice of a photo, I liked Singapore and Taiwan about the same, but I still prefer HK =)

  20. The new track is in Austin, and I definitely think we'll be there. All of this sounds like a dream for Max, he is crazy about F1. I suppose we have to let them do things like this as they're forced to listen to us prattle on about makeup for hours on end ;)

  26. I've been to Singapore twice but I don't remember it being nearly as beautiful as the place in your pictures :) There so many malls there.... I swear every train stop is a mall lol. I went to a few high end retail places last time I was there (I was like 14 though) and it was incredibly lavish. I kind of like the busier New York 5th ave feel though :)
