The Christmas Grouch

On Friday, I went to probably one of the scariest places on the planet
Rockefeller Center, post Christmas Tree Lighting

Swarovsky replica of the star on top of the tree

Christmas in New York, the lights are festive, and the city get's decked out for the holidays, but in truth, I think a good portion of the planet is between the blocks of 42nd st and 49th. Tight area + rushy city folk don't mix

I have actually never gotten closer to the famous Christmas tree than this. I never plan to personally, the shoving and pushing puts me in an incredibly bad mood, and the holiday season which I love, is starting to drive me insane with the shopping and crowds. Very ready for New Years.

Sounding like a real grouch...don't mean to, but the highlight of my day was finding the perfect Snoopy wrapping paper

Anyone else feel stressed around the holidays???

  1. Ahhhh! Christmas in New York, just like the song! Beautiful, but I agree. Crowds put me in a foul mood so I tend to go places where I won't find any. lol Snoopy!!
