I'm not sure about you guys, but by Friday at work ( which ironically is my busiest day) I am already EXHAUSTED and am ready for the weekend
By Friday, I have a hard time waking up on time, and usually will rush, even though I'm also trying to look my best for date night, but this past Friday was COLD. So cold I had to wear pants. By now you should all know I. HATE. WEARING. WORK. PANTS.
But here is my lazy work outfit, I guess it could have been a snazzier title like "Winter Resort Look" or something... but truth is, this is my lazy outfit. Can never go wrong with black.
Here is the outfit I wore to Hell's Kitchen
Black Tank: Old Navy, Black Sheer Button down: H&M, Pants: Express Cigarette skinnies ( I really need to invest in more work pants), Shoes: Zara, Necklace: Etsy, Blt: JCREW, Bag: Brand less Ring: YSL
My shoes, handbag, belt, and jewelry were the only forms of color on me. I needed something to not make me look like I was completely beat. So many people noticed my ring and shoes, I don't even think they noticed my outfit (whew)
Let's be honest, it's a bit drab and dreary
Do you have any lazy go to's?
Also, any favorite work pants recommendations??

Oh, I LOVE the shoes! Super cute!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this outfit! I really need to up my outfit game! But I totally agree that when you wanna jazz up a basic outfit, just add some really cool accessories. It always works! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE your heels!

Pants, a simple top, and a long cardigan are also my lazy look. I try to jazz it up with colorful accessories like my e-band or earrings. ^^ I think the all black outfit is very chic an not drab at all. Your YSL ring is so cool and such a statement piece.
ReplyDeleteHow is this your lazy outfit?! This looks awesome :D Your accessories are incredible (esp that ring!) and they really glam up your look. You also look really nice in dress pants so definitely don't shy away from them :)
ReplyDeleteLove those shoes! Express has excellent work trousers/pants/suits ;)
ReplyDeleteEven more ironically, this might be one of my favorite outfits of yours!

ReplyDeleteREALLY??????? lol i felt like a bum who threw on a YSL ring and tried to hide that from everyone in my office hahaha maybe i did better than i though!
ReplyDeletei <33 the accesssories :D
ReplyDeleteThose heels are lovely, heels are out of the question for me with working in a lab. Jaeger wool trousers are recommended work trousers for days when meeting with clinicians and the public- lightweight wool in the summer, heavier weight in the winter. Gorgeous fabrics, well made and they last for ages.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great outfit to really make your jewelry and shoes stand out. :D Yes! You can never go wrong with black!
ReplyDeletelol you sure make it look easy, even just for a lazy day!!! great outfit, love your accessories. I am going to try to venture with accessories this yr!
ReplyDeletemy lazy look (when i worked) used to be a high waisted knee length pencil skirt (black, of course), with a comfy white boat neck jersey tee (elbow-sleeved length - j.crew has tonnes of those)! , with heels. Totally boring and safe but incredibly comfy!
ReplyDeleteThank u! i dont have too many accessories i think so i repeat many but i try to make them versatile!
ReplyDeleteoh u work in a lab? WOW!!!!!!!!!!! lol im exceited bc everyone i know works in a cube!! thanks for the recc!
