30 days, for 30 days I have stuck with my "look" ok wknds a little less or nothing at all… but
I guess these are my "Favorites" of the month but they are all items in heavy rotation
MUFE F+B: Full review can be found here. My current go to base. Light, dewy, great color match, pretty good longevity, easy (not pictured)
The Dark house making it's way into my everyday routine is the new NARS Tinted Moisturizer (reviewing coming soon, I am still playing with this)
I have been going back and forth between the two and they are quite different to me!
I am also now trying the Garnier eye roll on and a Becca concealer. Chanel loose powder is always used now.
Brozer is still Edward Bess, big fat brush, and swiping it all ova!
Blusher has been non stop Well Dressed, Well Dressed, Well Dressed! I only wear it in the winter, but I am making this horse work. I have noticed with the coloring of the MUFE foundation and the pale coloring of this blush the combo makes me look, well even more pale, so I have been lightly dusting a sheer brushing of NARS O to my apples.
No By Candle light *shock horror*, I found NARS O looks better with golden highlighters so Soft and Gentle has been taking the stage
Take a big round brush and blend all the powders like crazy!! I need it to be sheer and edgeless
Eyes, boring. Mac's Bare Study + Lorac's Moonstone. Both hit pan, both are non moving from that status. Luckily I love them.
Moonstone I wear on the lid, under the eye, on the brow bone, and in my inner corner. Yeah basically all over!
Brows are still the same products with the new addition of Benefit's speed brow. Been liking this quick fix and light tint!
I have been playing with pencil liners for my daily kitten flick and the search continues for the proper one which can last all day
Waterline is still going strong with MAC's NC15/NW20 Chronographic pencil
*Mini Rant* All the Mac pencils I have been carrying around, have had all their caps CRACK. Poor cap quality, and since they cracked the opening has become larger meaning whenever I cap my pencils all the way I lose the point of the pencil hence sharpening constantly! Now I don't close the cap right away, but they need to fix that little problem…
Lips is still ongoing with NARS Dolce Vita lipstick topped with MAC's Miss Marble from I don't even remember what collection. It's old, but still vanilla scented, and the perfect topper to finish my look.
Douse myself with Fix +, fan frantically, and walk out looking *ahem* naturally effortless!
Now, I'm going to let you girls in on two secrets.
1. The reason why I have been using this routine so consistantly outside the obvious time savings is I am attempting *hard* to finish some make up products in my collection
Seeing pan is motivating I think!!
2. Whenever I post these "What I am using now" I usually change the ENTIRE routine the next day because I've obviously been using it for a while and like to rotate, but I am going to hold on a bit longer.
I want to rotate, but cleansing is good for the collection!
I want to finish these products off before moving on, because I KNOW if I change now, they won't be finished for months instead of a few more weeks!
Learning discipline and once finally finished, I can be satisfied moving on!!
Do you guys hold on to routines? For how long?
