Finished Products of July-September Video!

Due to my current state of living in what looks like a card board box warehouse, I just did not have the space to create a proper empties post, so I popped up a video to try to save time and get these reviews up!

My phone ran out of space towards the end, thus the abrupt ending so here are the final items that I had finished but did not get a chance to mention in the video.

Nature's Republic Long Lash mascara: An excellent natural looking mascara. Just a bit of color and a tiny bit of length, when you are going for that au natural look. Unfortunately this is the hardest mascara I have ever tried to remove in my life. For such a subtle effect, it sure did have a hold on my lashes.
Would not repurchase.

Clarins Gentle Cleanser: Full review can be found here. My favorite cleanser for daytime. This thing just works for me and keeps my skin quite balanced and normal.
Have repurchased.

Paul and Joe Lipstick #5: Beautiful packaging for a coral shade with gold shimmer. Unfortunately it had a bit too much of a chunky gold shimmer for my taste. I would personally not repurchase but younger women -17/18? may prefer this.
Would not repurchase.

Shiseido Pureness Cleanser: The Shiseido cleansers are all a bit too stripping for me and leave my skin feeling too squeaky clean for my taste, so this is more suited for someone with quite oily skin.
Would not repurchase due to my skin type not matching the demographic.

Sabon Body Scrub in Lemon Mint: Lasted ages and quite a good scrub, I would recommend it but I would not get this again, because I don't find myself scrubbing my body often.
Would not repurchase.

Bare Minerals Volume Mascara: The first time i tried it, it seemed 100% dried out, no opinions on it, because mine was a dud.

Hope you enjoyed a bit of changed pace to these posts!

  2. Love love love your empties posts! And I really liked your video - I'm happy to hear someone be very forthcoming in why they liked or didn't like the products. Plus, this will sound weird - you have a very pleasant speaking voice. Sometimes I can't watch videos from beauty bloggers because their voices are like nails on a chalkboard. Your empties posts are definitely one of my favorites, but I enjoy all of your posts, and can't wait for the next one :)

  6. They are the best! I think I love them so much because they help keep me motivated to keep using up my stash and getting through the ridiculous amount of products that I have. Plus, it was your empties posts that got me to try the L'Occitane hand creams and the Boscia blotting linens, both of which I am completely obsessed with! And no need to worry - I think your voice sounds great, and again, I really appreciate the honest commentary on the products! But I do love all of your posts, even though I am not the best at always commenting on them. I will try harder lol
